Easy Cleaner processes your photos and videos entirely on your device. We never upload, transmit, or store your photos, videos, or personal media data on external servers.

📷 Photo & Video Library Access
Easy Cleaner requests access to your photo library solely to:
- Display thumbnails of your photos, videos, and screenshots within the app
- Analyze images locally to detect visually similar or duplicate media
- Calculate file sizes to identify large files
- Delete media that you explicitly select for removal
All processing is performed on-device using Apple's Photos framework. No image data is read by any external party.
🚫 What We Do NOT Do
- We do not collect, upload, or share your photos or videos
- We do not collect personal information such as your name, email, or location
- We do not access the microphone, camera, contacts, or location
- We do not send push notifications unless you enable them
- We do not sell your personal data to third parties
📢 Advertising & Appodeal
Easy Cleaner is free to use and is supported by in-app advertising powered by Appodeal, a third-party ad mediation platform. To deliver and measure ads, Appodeal and its ad network partners may collect:
- Advertising Identifier (IDFA) — used for personalized ads, subject to your ATT consent choice
- IP address — used for geographic ad targeting and fraud prevention
- Device information — device model, OS version, screen size, language, and timezone
- Ad interaction data — impressions, clicks, and ad revenue attribution
When you first launch the app, iOS will ask for your permission to track via the App Tracking Transparency (ATT) prompt. If you decline, only non-personalized ads will be shown and your IDFA will not be shared.
You can change your tracking preference at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

📱 On-Device Processing 100% Local
All similarity detection and file analysis runs locally on your iPhone:
- Similar Photos — perceptual hashing compares images pixel-by-pixel in RAM; no image leaves the device
- Similar Videos — duration and resolution metadata is compared locally
- Large Files — file sizes are read from the Photos database on your device
- Screenshots — detected using Apple's screenshot subtype flag and screen-size matching, entirely on-device
🗑️ Deletion & Your Control
Easy Cleaner only deletes media that you manually select and confirm. Deletion is performed through Apple's PHPhotoLibrary API, which moves items to your Recently Deleted album for 30 days — giving you a safety net to recover them if needed.
We never delete anything automatically or in the background.
⚙️ Permissions Requested
- Photo Library (Read & Write) — required to display and delete your media. You can grant full or limited access at any time from iOS Settings.
- App Tracking Transparency — requested to enable personalized ads via Appodeal. Declining means non-personalized ads only; core app features are unaffected.
You can revoke photo access at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos → Easy Cleaner. Without photo access, the app cannot function.
👶 Children's Privacy
Easy Cleaner does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. The app does not collect any personal data from any user regardless of age.
📋 Changes to This Policy
If we update this Privacy Policy, the new version will be published within the app and on this page. Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
